UPDATE: Just learned that my client's romance novel has climbed the ranks to break into the top 50 in its category! (Kindle -> Romance-> Western) W00t! Must have been the editing. ;)
No matter the season, any romance fan likes to curl up with a cup of something hot and a spicy new story to whisk them away for a while.
You can feel the sizzle of adventure and danger from the first page of new author Maia Underwood's novel, "Surviving Passion."
Never a romance reader myself before this project, editing one was more fun than I had expected!
Working closely with Underwood, the novel was shaped to best tell the exciting story of stubborn heroine Selena as she finds herself in a vunerable position of being held in the arms of strong and sexy cowboy Dan, against her will. Is Dan her saviour or will he be her downfall?
You'll find yourself devouring the digital pages to find out.
Getting rave reviews on Amazon.com and currently selling for a crazy low price, adding "Surviving Passion" to your Kindle is an easy way to survive the cold weather by keeping it hot!

The fun part of being a freelance editor and writer is getting to meet cool people from around the world.
A year or so ago I met Julie, a respected nutritionist and speaker with a desire to communicate her years of specialized experience into bite-sized, easily digestible nuggets of information.
Together we organized her thoughts and today Julie is the new author of "Truth, Lies & Chocolate." It's a handy little book brimming with food facts that won't have you banging your head on the refridgerator in frustration. Her friendly tone and simple answers are refreshing.
Apparently the people at the Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Awards agree. "Truth, Lies & Chocolate" won a position as a Finalist in the 2010 awards this year.
